本課程是特別為上過中文導讀班的助人者所開設（沒上過的請勿報名本課程）。SMART治療是由美國 SMART Move LLC 公司所獨創。由心理師、社工師、職能治療師所合組的團隊，有多年在波士頓的創傷治療中心工作的經驗。
SMART目標在擴充拓展孩子的身心調節經驗，使用多元的刺激感官系統的設備，例如重量毯、大型懶骨頭、跳跳床、瑜珈球等讓孩子以最自然的方式來重建他們的依附感，以及以embody (具身化) 的體驗來促進創傷經驗的處理，希望能協助兒童及照顧者能增進他們人我共同調節、支持性的關係互動，以及自我調節的能力。
This bi-lingual English-Mandarin beginning level course is designed for Taiwanese mental health practitioners interested in learning a body-based approach that integrates bottom-up with top-down interventions to heal children, adolescents, and their families impacted by exposure to traumatic experiences, chronic stress, and attachment disruptions. Participants will gain a foundational understanding of complex trauma’s impact on child development, learn seven tools of regulation, and eight specific therapist skills that foster an effective treatment to support Somatic Regulation, Trauma Processing and Attachment-Building in the context of SMART.
Participants will also learn skills to support patterns of co-regulation with caregivers, and rhythms of engagement for children and adolescents that can be generalized to home and community settings.
